Picture
Perfect. . .
Okay, so now that the month is almost over we have finally
gotten the bug worked of our blog and we can update it!!!1
Below are random pictures of the students! We hope you enjoy
them. J

Cooking Class!
This month we have been learning about fruits and veggies! We had
a Fruit Day and then a Vegetable Day! We brought in all kinds of fruits and
veggies and let the children feel them, cut them and smell them, taste them,
etc. It was really fun to look at how different some of them look on the inside
compared to their outside-like a Kiwi!
Ms. Ashley took this concept a step further in her cooking class
and spoke the students about how
important it was to eat fruits and veggies and why it is good for our bodies to
eat these healthy foods. She taught the students how to make their own fruit
kabobs and even challenged them to make a “pattern” on their kabobs! The
children LOVED it!!! We didn’t get as many pictures of this as we needed too,
but we will pay more attention to this next month. . .IT WAS A BLAST!!!!!
Yoga Time!
The students LOVE yoga!!!! We are so lucky to have Angelee
coming and teaching this, to the students this year! She started them off
learning how to properly greet their yoga instructor and then she taught them
some breathing exercises and some of the more “simple” yoga posses like “tree” and
“dog”!!! The students had an amazing time, and I am so excited to have this be a part of our program this year!!

Library Day!
Our first trip to the local library was a success!!! We introduced
the students to the children’s area of the library, talked with them about the
different kinds of books found in that area of the library and then best of
all-we read a few stories. J
